Mobility and Vitality in Everyday Life
The terms “vitality” and “mobility” are often associated with various aspects of physical and mental well-being. For many people, they are essential for maintaining an active lifestyle even as they age.
There are various factors that can positively influence your vitality and mobility. These include regular exercise and a varied diet. In certain life situations, dietary supplements can be a practical addition to a balanced diet.
What exactly are enzymes?
Enzymes are essential for countless metabolic processes in the human body: They ensure that certain biochemical reactions can proceed quickly and efficiently. These specialized proteins lower the so-called activation energy required for a specific reaction. Each enzyme is specialized for a specific substance, known as the substrate.1,3
One group of enzymes is known as proteases: They can break down other proteins and areinvolved, among other things, in the degradation and remodeling of proteins.⁴ The two enzymes bromelain and papain, found in pineapple and papaya, also belong to the group of protein-digesting enzymes.
Cofactors: Partners of Many Enzymes
Many enzymes are true team players: To become activated and perform their function, they require what are known as cofactors. These can be various substances, such as vitamins or minerals. For example, the trace element zinc serves as a cofactor for numerous enzymes.5
Good to know:
Zinc, biotin, and vitamin B6 for numerous bodily functions
Vitamins and minerals perform various functions in the human body. Some of them are involved in the same processes: For example, both zinc and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system. Biotin and vitamin B6, in turn, contribute to normal energy metabolism, normal nervous system function, and normal psychological function.2
In addition, each of the three micronutrients plays a role in other processes. Vitamin B6 helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Zinc, in turn, supports normal cognitive function and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is triggered by highly reactive molecules—known as free radicals—and can damage cells.6
Frankincense and Turmeric in a Combo Pack
Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) and turmeric (Curcuma longa)⁷ have traditionally been valued in many cultures. Frankincense is the dried resin of trees of the genus Boswellia (Balsam family).⁸
Turmeric, or yellow root, contains curcuminoids, particularly curcumin. This plant compound is known to many people as the yellow-coloring component of the spice blend curry. Turmeric is featured in various dietary approaches—and, like frankincense, is a popular botanical ingredient in modern dietary supplements.9
What nutrients are found in wild blueberries?
Wild blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) are characterized by a high content of phytochemicals—specifically, polyphenols and anthocyanins. These compounds are responsible, among other things, for the intense color of these small fruits.10 With our highly concentrated berry extract—which is extracted using purely mechanical methods and without the use of solvents—these characteristic compounds are available to you year-round.
For rubyni Enzym Plus, we use only the finest brand-name ingredients:
BilCraft® is obtained purely mechanically and completely solvent-free from wild blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus). This patented process protects the natural fruit matrix and preserves anthocyanins and other polyphenols in their original composition. The result is a highly concentrated berry extract.
Cureit® is a full-spectrum turmeric extract that combines both polar and non-polar components of the turmeric root – including curcuminoids, essential oils, proteins and fiber – to reflect the natural matrix of turmeric. This natural matrix plays a crucial role in improving the bioavailability of curcuminoids.
Cureit® is a trademark of Aurea Biolabs.
Algomed® Spirulina comes from controlled cultivation in Germany, where the microalgae Spirulina platensis is cultivated in protected greenhouses, gently harvested and dried at a low temperature. The powder consists of 100 % spirulina, without any additives or preservatives.
QUERCEFIT® is a patented quercetin phytosome formulation extracted from the flower buds of Sophora japonica. The Indena Phytosome® technology enables a more efficient delivery of the active ingredients into the body, making quercetin available in a stable and easily utilizable form. Quercefit® has been studied in clinical trials and has shown measurable effects in various parameters.
Quercefit® and Indena Phytosome® are trademarks of Indena S.p.A., Italy.
DRcaps™: The special acid-stable, plant-based capsule shell DRcaps™ supports the stability of sensitive ingredients as they pass through the stomach.
DRcaps™ is a registered trademark of Capsugel.

3. what is the function of enzymes in the body?
Enzymes are specialized proteins that are involved in numerous processes in the body. They are also called biocatalysts and play an indispensable role in metabolism. This is because they ensure that biochemical reactions can proceed in a targeted and sufficiently rapid manner. They do this by lowering the so-called activation energy required for a reaction.
Certain enzymes can break down other proteins. This group also includes the plant enzymes bromelain and papain, found in pineapple and papaya.
4. how many capsules should I take daily?
The recommended daily intake is 4 rubyni Enzym Plus capsules, taken with plenty of water and without chewing. They should be taken two hours before or after meals. In addition, no other dietary supplements containing zinc should be taken.
The daily dose provides 440 mg of wild blueberry extract (BilCraft®) containing 106 mg of polyphenols (including 44 mg of anthocyanins), 160 mg of papain, 100 mg of bromelain, and 50 mg of curcuminoids. In addition, 4 capsules cover 83% of the daily requirement for vitamin B6, 80% of the daily requirement for biotin, and 65% of the daily requirement for zinc, based on the NRV*.
(*NRV: Nutrient Reference Value for adults as defined by the Food Information Regulation)
5. Is Rubyni Enzym Plus vegan and free of additives?
Yes. rubyni Enzym Plus capsules are made from 100% vegan ingredients in a special acid-stable vegetable capsule shell. This shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and coated with the gelling agent gellan.
The product is vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and contains no preservatives or fillers.
